That Taylor Swift’s real-estate portfolio is as ever-changing as her public persona (current phase: bold-colored camp) feels only natural. In the nearly two years since Swift released her dark, zombie apocalypse single “Look What You Made Me Do,” the pop superstar has made some serious changes to her real-estate holdings, including the addition of a third Tribeca apartment in 2018 that completed a trifecta of homes in the same building, and the sale of two of her Beverly Hills homes later that same year. In all, she now owns eight homes spanning four states—that we know of. No word on whether Swift has purchased a property in London, where she continues to spend time with her boyfriend of over two years, Joe Alwyn, and was rumored to be renting an apartment in 2017.
Swift purchased her first home at just 20 years old, a 3,240-square-foot condo right in the heart of Nashville’s Music Row, for a cool $1.99 million.
Beverly Hills, California
The “Wildest Dreams” singer made her move to Los Angeles, and in a possible reflection of her country-to-pop transition, she purchased a Cape Cod–style cottage in Beverly Hills in April 2011 for $3.55 million. The home, situated on nearly an acre and a half of land, features three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. She sold the home just before embarking on her Reputation tour last spring, in May 2018, in an off-market $4 million deal.

She then picked up another home in Nashville, this time in the quiet Forest Hills suburb, in June 2011, for $2.5 million. The Greek Revival–style estate features four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, as well as a guest house adjacent to an impressive outdoor pool.

Watch Hill, Rhode Island
Swift’s infamous Fourth of July parties with her squad were often hosted at her stunning seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom Rhode Island home on Watch Hill, and it’s no wonder why: The property overlooks Block Island Sound and Montauk Point. The singer purchased the 12,000-square-foot home in April 2013 for $17.75 million. In April of 2019, Swift and the house made headlines when a teenager crashed a stolen car into the front gate as he was being pursued by police. The Grammy winner’s response to the incident? “Nothing good starts in a getaway car,” she commented on an Instagram post about the news, referencing the lyrics from a song called “Getaway Car” on her album Reputation.
New York, New York
In February 2014, the Pennsylvania native purchased not one penthouse on a cobblestone street in NYC’s tony Tribeca neighborhood but two, combined to create one large 8,309-square-foot condo with 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The “Me!” singer paid $20 million for the abode, which was previously owned by Peter Jackson.

Of course, a star as successful as Swift needs an over-the-top compound on both coasts. She still owns the 10,982-square-foot, landmarked mansion in Beverly Hills which she purchased for $25 million in September 2015. The luxurious Georgian Revival estate has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms and previously belonged to Hollywood legend Samuel Goldwyn.

As she geared up to release Reputation in 2017, she also dropped $18 million on a Tribeca townhouse—right next door to her double penthouse. The three-floor dwelling was built in 1915 and fully renovated by architect and designer Leopoldo Rosati.

Speaking of the penthouse, in early 2018, the “Red” singer snapped up a $9.75 million apartment in the same building, bringing her total real-estate holdings on this one Tribeca block to an estimated $47.7 million.
